These Coptic bound journals are inspired by the early Persian books sewn with an open, uncovered spine. The distinctive exposed stitch binding is both beautiful and functional, allowing the journal to open completely flat for effortless writing and drawing on every page. We create these in a range of sizes.

A great way of repurposing old maps! In the age of sat nav old maps may become useless, but not if they’re re-used as covers for handmade journals. These have a coloured spine for strength, and the larger journals have co-ordinating corners. They also come in a range of sizes.
